DRM newsletter
March 2007

Welcome to another DRM Newsletter,

Things have been really busy for DRM recently. We have wave four models which are now available to order. Also armies are being painted up and we are preparing for a little something special at Salute in April.

New Models
The next batch of models includes two tanks and an artillery piece for the Pax Arcadia, which I was not able to release last time. Also the Andrayada get a few more units with two walkers each has multiple weapon options and a tank with four weapon options. The Andrayada tank gives a different look to what we have seen so far for the Andrayada ground units. For more pictures visit Paul's workbench thread on the forums.

DRM Representatives
I have been handling a number of queries with regards to the status of Heritage Studios. For a number of reasons, none of which are his fault, Steve De Young has not been able to maintain the level of customer support that is required.

The situation has worsened of late to the point where for all intents and purposes, Heritage has effectively ceased trading.

It is my sincere hope that Steve can return to business and pick up where he has left off. He has been a superb agent for DRM and exemplary in his enthusiasm for the product and his level of customer service. I would like to thank him publicly for his support and his efforts over the last year. However, the current situation cannot continue.

If you have outstanding orders with Heritage Studios, my only advice is to be patient. Steve will complete anything that’s outstanding we just need to give him some time.

Therefore, in the best interests of my US customers and indeed DRM, I have a new representative who is stocking DRM miniatures. Cloud City Games is based in Canada but is covering DRM sales for all of North America. Zac has just started up with his website and I hope that people who were unable to order through Heritage Studios can do so via Cloud City Games.

I am also looking for someone in the US who will take DRM to major US conventions, support sales with high levels of customer support and communication and be an active part of the growth of the company in the USA. If you feel that you can represent one of the fastest growing and highest profile 6mm sci-fi ranges available, please contact me.

Wave 4 Ordering
Wave 4 miniatures are available for ordering now. Orders for North America can be placed at Cloud City Games. Orders for the U.K. and the rest of the world can be placed via email from Dark Realm Miniatures.

salute

Last year it was a surprise to be there as someone who was promoting DRM models instead of being a customer and shopping as was planned. This year will be even bigger for DRM.

We are currently working on a nice "little" project that’s keeping us busy around the clock in preparation for the event. Suffice to say we have really set ourselves a target. I will give out more details in a future newsletter leading up to Salute, but for now all I can say is that we will be there. So if you can make it, mark the 21st of April on your calendar.

Paul has been paying a lot of attention to the Kraytonian army, which can be seen below. Paul has been working around the clock to get his forces painted and they will be on show among our displays at Salute in April.

Kraytonian army

Paul will be using the DRM forum to post his progress on each army, and I must say that Paul is doing really well considering the time constraints we have imposed on ourselves.
