DRM
Participation Game
Last
year we were around Wargames Warehouse and chatting to quite a
few people about what DRM had been doing up to that point and where
we wanted to head in the year now gone by. This year we want to do something
different and that is exactly
what we have set out to do. We have a table booked and will be
running participation games of our very own rules set throughout the
day. There's no need to book a place, just turn up and take control
of a formation or two on the battlefield. The table is GN171
located in Zone N towards the back. See the floor plan map below
for the location.
This
will be a scenario game using the Kraytonians and Andrayada forces.
We have been busy playtesting the game to make sure the forces
are balanced and have kept Mercenary Brush very busy painting up
armies and designing the gaming table.
Paul
has been kind enough to take a picture of some of the units he
has painted. Its
quite a sight to behold.
We
will have more details about the game, including pictures, and
background in the next week or two just before the show. Its
been quite a challenge but we are enjoying ourselves and are
looking forward to the show. The rules themselves have had a lot
of work done but they are still under development. Salute will
give us the chance to allow people to see what we have been up
to and hopefully give us feedback on what you think of things so
far. Shortly after the event we will be releasing a downloadable
PDF of the core rules and the army lists. That way players from
all over the world can provide feedback to fine tune the game and
you can help make the DRM rules the 6mm sci-fi game you have always
wanted.
As well
as the game, the stand will be showing off the entire "Studio" collection
of painted DRM miniatures and some previously unseen preview figures
as well. Dark Realm will be well represented with some of the guys
behind it all being present throughout the day, so if you want to
ask about the design process, find out whats in the pipeline,
talk painting with Paul ("TuffSkull" of the Mercenary Brush)
or if you just want to see some pretty eye candy, our stand is the
place to be! |
